The ʋɛs.t͡sɛp [ɣɔ: iɬʊɹaːstaɬaː] are a culture in southern Zitis. Former slaves from the Tanlhawes, they were gifted to the Hetsekky monarchs in 3182 KS, who did not understand what to do with slaves and therefore just continually sent them southwards, until they were deposited into their current homeland. During their captivity, the Wajahe taught them horse riding, warfare, and raiding - since they were property, they were treated as a child would, and given these essential skills for a modern life. Due to this, and the nature of the tools and food provided them upon their release, they quickly became nomadic peoples riding at first horses and later reindeer, raiding across the southern coast (frequently with Wajahe military leadership and advice). The Wajahe still see themselves as the stewards of the Vestsep, and as a result, frequently send gifts, aid, or warriors to help them in their domination of the southern forests.
The culture is centered in the small city of utkʊːɬa, which also acts as a meeting point for the people on important occasions.
